For the 2020 model year, Ford introduced a limited-edition variant of the Super Snake which pays homage to its legendary heritage with an exclusive appearance package. Known as the Bold Edition, this model combines striking design elements and paint combinations with one of Shelby’s most formidable V8 engines.
Limited to just 30 vehicles for the 2020 model year, the Bold Edition features three distinct color schemes with extravagant stripe combinations that perfectly complement the coordinated interior accents. Customers can choose from Shadow Black with vibrant green stripes, Green Lime with sleek black stripes, or Twister Orange with bold black stripes.
Under the hood, the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine receives Super Snake-specific enhancements. These include a polished Whipple supercharger, a Shelby extreme cooling system, a high-performance intake, a precision-engineered billet throttle body, high-capacity fuel injectors, and a Shelby-tuned Borla variable exhaust. This supercharged V8 powerhouse can unleash up to an impressive 825 horsepower, propelling the Super Snake from zero to 60 mph in a breathtaking 3.5 seconds.
