Taking the GT350’s place in the 2021 Mustang lineup is the sixth-generation Mach 1. Ultimately, the 2021 Mach 1 has proven itself as deserving of this storied designation, just like the high-output pony cars of the 1960s and 70s.
Powered by a 5.0 Coyote engine and a 6-speed manual transmission, the 2021 Mach 1 produces 480 horsepower. However, it’s more than just a formidable straight-line performer. The Mach 1 excels in powering through even the tightest curves, thanks to numerous upgraded steering and suspension enhancements. Alternatively, buyers can opt for a ten-speed SelectShift automatic transmission.
In its Premium Package format, the Mach 1 features upgraded aerodynamic body paneling. This package offers additional paint/interior trim options not available with base model offerings. The Premium Package includes Fighter Jet Gray Exterior, Recaro Cloth Sport Seats, 19-inch Dark Tarnished painted aluminum wheels, Michelin 2 Tires, Adjustable Top Strut Mounts, Front Sport Bumper Blade, decklid spoiler, Rear split bench folding seat, and Selectable drive modes.
