Thanks to the Tremec 6-speed manual transmission paired with the 3.31:1 final-gear ratio, the potent 2013 Shelby GT500 achieved a top speed of 200 MPH while managing to evade the “gas guzzler” tax with a 24 MPG highway fuel efficiency rating. Employing Launch Control technology, the 2013 Shelby GT500 could complete the quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds at 125.7 MPH, earning commendation from “Motor Trend” magazine.

Straight from the factory, the Shelby GT500s featured an aluminum hood with air extractor, driving lights, an open grille for enhanced cooling, dual exhaust with quad tips, Brembo 4-wheel disc brakes, a carbon-fiber driveshaft, and a 220 MPH speedometer.
