This 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 convertible was modified by Shelby Automobiles using their Super Snake package. Finished in Torch Red with Charcoal Black and Crimson Red leather, the car features a carbon-fiber front splitter, rocker panel extensions, a short-throw shifter, a Borla exhaust system, an Eibach coilover suspension, 20″ Shelby-Alcoa forged alloy wheels, and Baer four-wheel disc brakes with six-piston calipers. Factory-equipped elements include a black soft top, HID headlights, front sport bucket seats, a Shaker 500 sound system, a CD stereo, and air conditioning.
Power is derived from a supercharged 5.4-liter DOHC V8 said to be producing around 625 horsepower and is equipped with a Ford Racing supercharger and chrome valve covers. The Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential transmit power to the rear wheels.
