This Pro Touring build began with a 1970 Mustang Fastback and was completed on a rotisserie by Richard Benedict. Only test miles have been logged since its completion. Powering the car is a Ford Coyote 5.0L V-8 engine with a Vintage Air front runner setup and a stainless exhaust system. A Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission transfers the power to a Currie 9-inch rear end with 3.90:1 gears and Tru-Trac Positraction.

The Mustang’s undercarriage features a Detroit Speed Alumaframe front suspension, power rack-and-pinion steering gear, subframe connectors, rear mini tubs, and a Detroit Speed Quadralink rear-suspension system. Baer disc brakes with 15-inch rotors and 6-piston calipers in the front, and 14-inch rotors with 4-piston calipers in the rear, along with stainless-steel brake lines, provide stopping power.

Custom body modifications include a 1969 front fascia and Shelby tail panel, custom front and rear bumpers and valances, a custom trunk lid, smoothed drip rails, and flush-mounted glass, all beneath the striking House of Kolor Kandy Apple Red paint finish. The custom leather interior features a one-piece headliner, a custom dash and gauge pod housing new Vintage Instruments gauges, an Ididit tilt column topped with a Budnik steering wheel, and a leather-lined trunk.

Enhancing the Mustang’s stance are huge 19×9-inch and 19×12-inch Budnik custom wheels fitted with 245/35/19 and 325/30/19 Firestone Firehawk tires, providing excellent grip and adding to the overall appeal of this remarkable Pro Touring Mustang.
