In the late ’60s, the first generation Mustang was becoming larger and heavier, prompting Ford to release powerful engines that could keep up. The Boss 302 and 429 made waves in the muscle car scene and with a name like “Boss,” the Mustang was destined for greatness. Even after more than 55 years, the Mustang Boss 302 and 429 remain highly sought after.

However, the Boss 557 is a Mustang like no other! Despite lacking any obvious restomod parts, it boasts a 460 cu in V8 engine that has been bored and stroked to 557, producing an impressive 800 hp and 750 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel. The power is delivered to the rear wheels through a TKO five-speed manual transmission.
