When it was first introduced, the 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 was the most powerful production car in America thanks to its 5.8-liter V8 aluminum-block engine that pumps out 662 horsepower and 631 lb/ft. of torque. Randy Pobst from MotorTrend tested the GT500 at Chrysler’s Proving Grounds, in Kingman, Arizona to see if it can finally break the 200 mph barrier.
