Mustang Of The Day: 2011 Ford Mustang “WD-40/SEMA”

This Mustang serves as a showcase for aftermarket products endorsed by members of the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA), a major industry group representing these sectors that evolved from the Speed Equipment Manufacturers Association. WD-40, well-known for its automotive products, including its iconic namesake, co-sponsored this project.

The SEMA/WD-40 team began with a 2011 Mustang GT and integrated a range of member components, including urethane body kits from Street Scene Equipment, Forgeline wheels sized 20×9 in the front and 20×10.5 in the rear, Nitto extreme performance NT555 tires, a Paxton supercharger with intercooler, Stillen/AP Racing brakes featuring six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, PPG special yellow and blue paint, custom paintwork by L&G Enterprises, Katzkin custom leather interior, MagnaFlow cat-back exhaust system with crossover pipe, Hotchkis sway bars, Panhard rod, springs, and braces, Polk audio amps, speakers, and subwoofers, stereo enhancements by Audio Innovations, an Advance Clutch Technology double-disc clutch system, a Revolution airbag steering wheel from Grant, engine dress-up accessories from California Pony Car, and GTR performance engine and dyno tuning.

This vehicle made its debut at the November 2010 SEMA show in Las Vegas and is equipped with a 32-valve Ford 5.4-liter engine that delivers an impressive 600 brake horsepower.
