Over time, Ringbrothers has earned a reputation for commanding attention at SEMA shows with its classic muscle car builds, and you can clearly see the reasons when you look at this exquisite 1965 Ford Mustang 408ci Restomod.
Originally finished in Ragoon Red, Ringbrothers first changed it to blue before applying the current metallic-grey finish. The car underwent a comprehensive overhaul by Ringbrothers between 2004 and 2005, and additional adjustments and finishing touches were made by the company in 2018. Riding on bespoke Ringbrothers Forgeline wheels encased in Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires, the Fastback boasts stopping power from a Baer brake system with 13-inch slotted and cross-drilled rotors. Integra Racing coilover shocks grace all four corners, ensuring dynamic performance.
Inside, the Ringbrothers touch extends to an NRG steering wheel complementing a powered rack-and-pinion steering system. The Stewart-Warner instrument cluster, featuring an 8,000 rpm tachometer, harmonizes with black leather Recaro seats and billet aluminum accents throughout. A six-speaker Kenwood stereo with Apple Carplay, accompanied by two 12-inch subwoofers, complements the V8’s resonant soundtrack.
Under the hood, a rebuilt 408ci Windsor V8, boasting aluminum cylinder heads, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and an 800-Cfm Holley double-pumper carburetor, powers the Mustang. The Flowmaster exhaust system channels the V8 roar, directed to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission. Additional modifications include a carbon fiber hood and roof, a discreet rear-lip spoiler, hood pins, sail-panel fuel caps, cowl vent covers, and hood-mounted LED turn signal bezels.
