Bring A Trailer is currently offering a 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350 finished in Ivy Green with white stripes. This GT350 is said to be refurbished that included rebuilding the engine, drivetrain, suspension, and brake components in addition to refinishing the wheels and refreshing the interior.
As mentioned the car is finished in Ivy Green with white stripes while featuring a black vinyl interior with low-back front bucket seats, lap belts, a heater, a push-button AM radio, and a folding rear seat. Additional equipment includes Magnum 500–style 14″ wheels, four-barrel carburetor on a high-rise intake manifold, Kelsey-Hayes ventilated front disc brakes, Koni shock absorbers, dual exhaust outlets, and a dash-mounted tachometer.
Power is sourced from a 289ci Windsor V8 that’s been fitted with a four-barrel Holley 715-cfm carburetor and a cast-aluminum high-rise intake manifold. Additional GT350-specific features include a finned-aluminum “T” oil pan with hinged baffles, open-letter valve covers, and tri-Y exhaust headers.
All considered, the 1966 Shelby GT350 produced 306 horsepower and 329 ft-lb of torque, which was nothing short of monumental for its time. Power is then delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9″ differential.
