FOR SALE: 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Restomod

Live on Bring A Trailer is a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Restomod that has all the goods in an award-winning package.

The 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 underwent extensive modifications in 2018 by Sic Chops of Cave Creek, Arizona. The upgrades included the installation of a boxed Roadster Shop Fast Track chassis and a new coat of Avalanche Gray paint.

Powering the car is a 521ci V8 engine built by Jon Kaase Racing Engines, featuring “Boss Nine” aluminum cylinder heads, individual throttle bodies, an aluminum intake manifold, and a Comp Cams camshaft. A Tremec five-speed manual transmission was also added. According to a dyno test sheet, the car’s peak power output is approximately 851 horsepower and 723 lb-ft of torque.

The vehicle comes with a Strange Engineering 9″ rear axle, 18″ and 19″ Colorado Custom billet aluminum wheels, Baer four-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled rotors, power-assisted steering, C6 Corvette-based suspension, Penske double-adjustable coilovers, and a dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers.

The interior of the car was reupholstered with red leather and equipped with a Colorado Customs steering wheel, Dakota Digital instrumentation, a 10-speaker Kicker sound system with Bluetooth connectivity, Vintage Air climate control, and a Passport radar detector.

This modified Mach 1 has received two SEMA awards and has been featured in an issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines. It comes with a clean Montana title and is currently available for sale in Arizona through a dealer consignment.
