A Foxbody Mustang Destroys A Modern Porsche On The Race Track

Ford manufactured the Foxbody Mustangs for a span of 14 years, during which they introduced multiple editions and a facelift. While these cars don’t have the classic look of the first generation and the raw power of the latest Mustang generation, this classic pony still managed to create a devoted following.

By today’s standards of muscle cars, Foxbody Mustangs are not particularly fast. The most potent variant was the 1993 SVT Cobra, equipped with the legendary Windsor 5.0-liter V8 engine, yet it only generated 235 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque.

If you were to race these Mustangs on the race track today, you wouldn’t expect them to see beating other sports cars like modern Porsches. But in this video from FoxbodyFX YouTube channel, we get to see a Foxbody Mustang doing just that on a race track thanks to some performance modifications.
