Looking into the numbers between these two sports cars, you can see that the 2024 Honda Civic Type R is in a disadvantage. Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive, only outputs of 315 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.
On the other end of the spectrum is the Ford Mustang GT, priced around $42,000. Its star attraction is the formidable 5.0L Coyote V8 engine, delivering an impressive 485 horsepower.
