In a new video from Sam CarLegion YouTube channel, we are again treated to a showdown between American muscle power versus German engineering. In this case, a 2024 Ford Mustang GT going against a 2023 BMW M2. It’s worth mentioning though that both these cars are rear-wheel drive and sport manual transmission.
When it comes to numbers, the American pony car has the advantage. Its naturally-aspirated V8 pumps out 486 horsepower as compared to the BMW’s twin-turbocharged inline-6 which only generates 453 horsepower. It’s also lighter as tips its the scales at 3,741 pounds, whereas the Bimmer weighs 3,814 pounds.
