Ford Motor Company, Roush and Ford Racing have teamed up to auction a one-of-a-kind 2013 Roush Stage 3 Mustang on May 16th at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan to benefit the SAE Foundation STEM education programs.
The one-of-one special edition vehicle features custom silver paint, full Roush body kit, painted side and hood graphics and a 625 horsepower supercharged 5.0L Ford Racing ‘Aluminator’ long block with forged internals among other things.On the inside Roush went above and beyond with custom embroidered leather Recaro seats, Roush red shifter ball, Laguna Seca “X” brace with rear seat delete and a Roush custom gauge cluster.
Adding to the allure of the vehicle it will be signed by Mr. Edsel Ford II, Bill Ford Jr. and Jack Roush signifying the teamwork and effort that went into building this special edition Mustang. The vehicle will also be used as the Pace Car for the June 17th NASCAR Sprint Cup Michigan 400 race at Michigan International Speedway. Mr. Jack Roush will pilot the 2013 RS3 Mustang pace car around the track that day as an added bonus for whoever wins the auction.
