In collaboration with longstanding partners, Ford Performance enlisted the expertise of Multimatic to assist in building and supporting these race cars. The 2024 Mustang GT3 is equipped with a race-ready version of the V8 Coyote engine, developed in the UK by M-Sport. This engine is the same 5.0-liter powerplant found in the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, with the V8 engine being bored out to 5.4 liters.
The Mustang GT3 uses lightweight carbonfiber body panels that contribute to its aggressive and sculpted design. As a GT3 car, prioritizing aerodynamics is paramount, evident in the large front splitter, rear wing, and diffuser setup designed to generate the necessary downforce for optimal performance on the track.
