Established in 1983, Saleen Automotive celebrated their 40th anniversary last year by introducing the SA-40 Speedster, the pinnacle of design for this generation of Saleen 302s based on the S550 platform. Limited to just 10 units, the SA-40 represents a landmark achievement for the brand.
In a nod to tradition, Saleen Anniversary models typically come in yellow, black, or white. However, breaking the mold set by the SA-15 in 1998, the 2023 SA-40 comes finished in Speedlab Yellow, with black and white accents. Noteworthy features include a newly designed tonneau cover with a dual-hoop carbon fiber style bar.
Built upon the Saleen 302 Black Label convertible with 800 horsepower, the SA-40 Speedster boasts special wheels, Racecraft suspension, Saleen brakes, and a bespoke 40th anniversary interior package. With an MSRP starting at $142,000, this limited edition model promises unparalleled styling, precise handling, and a racing pedigree recognized worldwide.
