In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the iconic movie “Bullitt” and its beloved San Francisco car chase scene, Ford unveiled the impressive 2019 Mustang Bullitt. This new Bullitt model is powered by an enhanced 5.0-liter V8 engine, producing a minimum of 475 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque, propelling the Bullitt to a top speed of 163 mph.

Staying true to the spirit of the original 1968 version, this special-edition Mustang delivers both thrilling performance and head-turning aesthetics. With high-performance components, distinctive BULLITT design elements, and essential options, this Mustang is sure to leave a lasting impression. The Ford Mustang Bullitt features a manual transmission, and its gear shifter is adorned with a white cue ball shift knob as a tribute to the original. This vehicle combines all the content of the Mustang GT Premium and Performance Package into a car that preserves the subtle persona of the original Bullitt.

It comes equipped with a standard active valve performance exhaust system featuring new Black NitroPlate™ exhaust tips, which have been retuned to produce the car’s distinctive burble. The Bullitt also incorporates a new Open Air Induction System and a Shelby GT350 intake manifold with 87mm throttle bodies, along with powertrain control module calibration for optimal performance. Additional standard features include a heated leather steering wheel and a 12-inch all-digital LCD instrument cluster, functionally identical to the one introduced in the 2018 Mustang but featuring a unique Bullitt welcome screen that starts in green with an image of the car instead of the pony.
