The California Special returned virtually unchanged, looking better than ever with the styling changes for 2013. Ford’s goal when designing the 2013 GT/CS was to give it a more aggressive look which includes the following:

- Unique Hood Stripes
- Lower Fascia with fog lamps and air splitter
- Unique 19″x8.5″ Black Painted / Machined-Aluminum Wheels

- Unique I/P Finish Panel
- Black hood vents
- Unique Door-panel inserts with bright Pony badge
- Unique Front and Rear Leather Seats with Miko® Suede Inserts and GT/CS logo
- Premium carpeted front floor mats with embroidered GT/CS logo
- Rear “Diffuser-Style” Lower Fascia
- Pedestal Spoiler
- Side Scoops
As for power, the 2013 GT/CS also got Ford’s 5.0-liter DOHC V-8 which was found on the Mustang GT Premium as well that was good for an easy 412 horsepower.
