After Saleen was founded in 1983, it started producing their first cars the next year. 1985 marked the third year of them modifying Ford Mustang. The 1985 models like the one featured here had the honor of being the first supercharged Saleen Mustangs and also came with a couple of aero and suspension upgrades.
The 1985 Saleen Mustang came with a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine producing 210 horsepower. It also came with added aerodynamic body skirts, sport wheels, Racecraft suspension, and Saleen graphics.
