This 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback restomod, known as “Modern Muscle,” underwent an extensive transformation that demanded over 2,000 hours of craftsmanship, resulting in an estimated cost of $278,000.
Under the hood, it boasts a Ford Racing supercharged 5.4L crate engine, enhanced further with a Kenne Bell supercharger. The power is harnessed through a Tremec 6-speed transmission. It’s also equipped with a Shelby 500 radiator and FAST engine management system.
Rolling on Modern Muscle’s signature 19 and 20-inch wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich tires, this Mustang handles like a dream with SSBC power disc brakes and Heidts suspension on both ends, backed by a Ford 9-inch rear end. It features power steering and a SONY stereo system, while the interior, sourced from a 2008 Mustang, boasts custom black leather and suede, Auto Meter gauges, and a stainless gas tank.
Aesthetic upgrades include frenched-in tail lights, 1970 Mustang front fenders and grille, and a Boss 429 hood scoop. Finished in DuPont Silver and Black paint with a striking Grabber Blue pinstripe, “Modern Muscle” is a visual masterpiece, representing the epitome of automotive craftsmanship.
