Mustang Of The Day: 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback Restomod

Crafted by the renowned Roadster Shop in Mundelein, Illinois, this 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback combines impressive performance with striking aesthetics. Its naturally aspirated Coyote 5.0L V-8 engine, tested to deliver 423 HP, is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, effortlessly propelling the fastback’s lightweight frame. The custom build includes a Roadster Shop chassis with adjustable suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, custom Forgeline wheels, and wide Michelin tires.

Subtle modifications to the body, like a wider stance and integrated drip rails, enhance its appeal. A front spoiler improves aerodynamics, while black grilles, a hood scoop, and brightwork accents highlight the Midnight Blue paint. Inside, the black interior features Recaro bucket seats, a customized dashboard with chrome-surrounded gauges, custom door panels, and a Momo steering wheel. The center console offers convenience with an armrest, cup holders, and a shifter.

This Mustang’s blend of modern amenities, comfort, and timeless design make it a head-turner that captivates both occupants and onlookers.
