Ford Mustang SHELBY GT500 Review by AutoTrader

In 2020, Ford officially discontinued the GT350, signaling a possible end for the GT500. The confirmation came in 2022 that the Shelby GT500’s last year was 2022. Ford has blended aggressive styling, extreme aerodynamics, lightweight components, and a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine producing a staggering 760 horsepower, making it the company’s most powerful production vehicle yet.

For the 2023 model year, Ford designated the Mustang Mach 1 as the top-tier Mustang, succeeding the Shelby GT500. The introduction of the 2024 Ford Mustang revealed the Mustang Dark Horse as the new top model, replacing the Mach 1 with rumors that the new GT500 will likely come in 2025.

So, while we wait for more and updates about the next-generation GT500, why don’t you watch this review by Rory Reid from AutoTrader as he takes this American muscle to the streets of UK and see what he thinks about it.
