Here’s an interesting drag race for you brought to us by the folks from The Fast Lane Car YouTube channel. It’s a showdown between a 2014 Ford Mustang GT and a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392.
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 is equipped with a 6.4-liter engine, generating 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and it lacks a two-wheel-drive option, as it’s designed exclusively for 4×4.
However, the Jeep comes with a substantial price tag, coming in at $95,000 fully equipped. This is nearly four times the cost of its competitor, the 2014 Ford Mustang GT. This particular Mustang, the final model of the S197 generation, is powered by a 420-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 engine, delivering 390 lb-ft of torque.
