FOR SALE: 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Fathouse Performance 1000R Twin Turbo

Equipped with a twin-turbocharged Voodoo V8 delivers an astonishing 953 horsepower and 674 lb-ft of torque

Now listed for sale on Cars & Bids, this extensively modified 2020-era Ford Shelby GT350R represents a dramatic transformation of one of Ford’s most celebrated track-focused Mustangs. Already revered for its naturally aspirated flat-plane-crank Voodoo V8 and race-inspired engineering, this example has been elevated to an entirely different performance category through Fathouse Performance’s renowned 1000R Twin Turbo Package.

The comprehensive build combines cutting-edge forced-induction technology with reinforced drivetrain components and track-oriented suspension upgrades, resulting in a machine capable of delivering supercar-level performance while retaining the engagement of a traditional six-speed manual transmission.

Factory equipment remains one of the GT350R’s strongest attributes. According to the original window sticker included with the listing, the car was specified with Equipment Group 920A and the Technology Package. Additional highlights include Ford’s adaptive MagneRide suspension system, Brembo high-performance braking hardware, lightweight Recaro sport seats upholstered in cloth and Miko suede, and numerous driver-focused performance features that distinguish the GT350R from conventional Mustang variants.

Introduced as the ultimate track-ready version of the S550-generation Shelby GT350, the GT350R incorporated several enhancements over the standard model, including lightweight carbon-fiber wheels, revised aerodynamic bodywork for increased downforce, and strategic weight-saving measures such as the removal of the rear seats. Production concluded in 2020, cementing the model’s reputation as one of the most focused performance Mustangs ever produced.

Under the hood, the original 5.2-liter Voodoo V8 has been transformed with Fathouse Performance’s 1000R Twin Turbo system. The package features Xona Rotor dual ball-bearing turbochargers, stainless-steel turbo headers, TiAL wastegates and blow-off valve, a massive 4.5-inch air-to-air intercooler, upgraded fuel delivery components with Injector Dynamics ID1300x injectors, a twin-pump return-style fuel system, and a MoTeC M150 engine management system calibrated with separate 93-octane and E85 tunes by Johnson Tuning.

The drivetrain has been strengthened with a built TREMEC TR-3160 six-speed manual transmission, an RPS triple-disc carbon clutch, and a QA1 carbon-fiber driveshaft to handle the substantial increase in output. According to the included chassis dyno results, the twin-turbocharged Voodoo V8 delivers an astonishing 953 horsepower and 674 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels.

Complementing the powertrain are Toyo Proxes R888R performance tires, Ford Performance lowering springs, a BMR Suspension anti-wheel-hop kit, lightweight 19-inch Signature SV101 monoblock aluminum wheels, an MGW short-throw shifter, and a custom billet weighted shift knob, completing a carefully engineered build designed to maximize both track capability and driver engagement.
