Collecting Cars is currently offering an iconic muscle car that was rebuilt as a tribute to the original ‘Eleanor’ GT500 featured in the movie ‘Gone In 60 Seconds’.
This 1967 Mustang has been completely rebuilt in the last four years to pay homage to the famous ‘Eleanor’ featured in the movie ‘Gone In 60 Seconds’. A new ‘Stroker’ V8 engine was installed along with new body panels.
The car is finished in Sterling Grey with twin black centre stripes. It rides on a set of 17-inch Coys alloy wheels with triple-eared knock-offs, housing disc brakes front and rear plus Wilwood front brake callipers. It’s also been fitted with side-exit exhaust pipes, quick-release bonnet pins, twin front spotlights, auxiliary centre console gauges, and a VintageAir air conditioning system. The black leather interior features a Ford push-button radio, wind-up windows, and opening front quarterlights.
Underneath its hood is a 347ci (5.7L) ‘Stroker’ V8 sending power to the rear wheels via driving via a three-speed automatic transmission. This Eleanor Mustang is also offered with relatively low mileage with just 27,869 miles at the time of cataloguing.
Offered in superb condition all throughout, this Mustang will surely appeal to any muscle car afficionado out there who’s looking for a car that draws the attention of the public wherever it goes.
