The 2021 Mach 1, has proved itself every bit as worthy of carrying this storied designation, as any of the high-output pony cars of the 1960s and 70s. In its latest form, the Mach 1 features a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 that churns out 480 horsepower and is paired to a six-speed manual transmission.
Now in this video courtesy of Sam CarLegion, the Mach 1 is being compared to the 2021 BMW M4 that features a radical redesign and is powered by the standard twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six that makes 473 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. It’ll be interesting to see how the Mach 1 stacks up against the German sports car that is more expensive.
