Bringing A 2000HP Mustang To A Burnout Contest

Most car enthusiasts are aware of the S550 Ford Mustang’s impressive capabilities, attributed to its adaptable Coyote engine. Despite this, there are individuals, like Westen Champlin, who find the fifth-generation Mustang boring.

In response, he opted to install a 2,000-hp blown-alcohol big block V8—similar to those used in monster trucks and dragsters. Inspired by Australia’s intense Burnout Competitions, where participants obliterate tires, Champlin aimed to created the ultimate burnout machine.

After having some tough time installing the massive engine in a previous video, this time we finally get to see Westen Champlin and his 2000hp Mustang in action as he brought it to a burnout contest in Las, Vegas.
