Every year, Ponies In The Smokies holds a car show in Pigeon Forge that honors the Ford Mustang, which holds the title of being the longest continuously produced nameplate by Ford Motor Company. The Mustang, originally designed as a line of stylish sports convertibles and coupes, was first introduced in 1965.
