Nonetheless, a recent face-off featured a surprising outcome between a 2024 Ford Mustang GT, boasting a 480 hp, 5.0-liter Coyote V8, and a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody with 717 hp from its 6.2-liter V8.
The well-known YouTuber StangMode, with his 2024 Ford Mustang GT affectionately named ‘Papa Smurf,’ took on a stock Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody at the Maple Grove Raceway in Pennsylvania. Given the substantial power gap between the two vehicles, it would be wise to put your money on the Hellcat.
