Current star of the Australian based V8 Supercar series Mark ‘Frosty’ Winterbottom recently got the opportunity to cruise the new Circuit of the Americas F1 track in a 2013 Mustang GT. Frosty drove the 5.0 Mustang through the back part of the race course motoring through turns 5-12 getting squirly at times. The F1 track is currently under construction with the base road layed so Frosty took advantage and put the Mustang GT through its paces.
In 2013 Frosty hopes for a return to the Circuit of the Americas F1 track as the V8 Supercar series he now races in is scheduled for an event. Check out the video of Frosty’s test drive and comments of the Circuit of Americas F1 track.
