The Mach 1 moniker is undeniably etched into the fabric of performance car culture. This is no less true at the current moment than it was during Mach 1’s initial production run during the 1970s. However, the 2023 model year is somewhat of a distinct year for Mach 1, as it serves as the final iteration of the Mach 1 in its current sixth-generation format.

Inside, the Mach 1 showcases a number of sporty touches, intent upon making one feel as if they are at the helm of a truly dynamic performance vehicle. The Mach 1’s cabin features specialty trim, color-accented stitching, and a custom-engineered instrument cluster.
Under the hood is a 5.0L Coyote V8 that can be paired to one of two available transmissions, the first of which is a 6-speed Tremec manual, and the latter, a 10-speed SelectShift automatic. A set of 3.73 rear gears come standard, though consumers can opt for a set of 3.55 Torsen gears instead. This powertrain is capable of producing around 470 horsepower.
