Ford Unveils Their 2024 Mustang Mach-E Lineup

The new lineup promises quicker acceleration, faster charging time, and more range.

Ford’s venture into electrification started with the released of the Mustang Mach-E in December 2020. By 2024, this dedication has evolved, evident in the enhanced Mustang lineup, which now comes in four different trims: ‘Select’, ‘Premium’, ‘GT’, and ‘Rally’, each boasting distinct features and performance capabilities.

Noteworthy improvements include extended range capabilities, with the ‘Select’ and ‘Premium’ models achieving 250 and 320 miles, respectively. The ‘GT’ model offers a range of 280 miles, while the ‘Rally’ variant maintains a 265-mile range.

Charging efficiency has also been significantly boosted,  with a 20% improvement compared to prior models. Drivers can now charge from 10-80% in approximately 36.2 minutes, a significant improvement of 8.8 minutes, while the standard range battery option takes just 32.3 minutes, 5.7 minutes faster than the Mustang Mach-E at launch.

Performance upgrades are equally impressive, with acceleration from 0-60 mph now accomplished half a second faster, clocking in at 3.3 seconds, which is quicker than the Tesla Model Y Performance and Porsche Macan 4 Electric.

Prices range from $39,995 for the standard ‘Select’ variant to $59,995 for the top-tier ‘Rally’ model with extended-range battery and all-wheel drive. Ford’s dedication to electric innovation with the Mustang Mach-E solidifies its position as a formidable contender in the electric vehicle market.
