Bring A Trailer is pleased to offer an extremely rare 2014 Ford Mustang Boss 302S. The Boss 302S is one of the rarest and most collectible Mustangs ever made and it was specifically designed for road-racing competition. All Boss 302S didn’t came with a VIN since they were not considered as not street legal. Only 50 units of 302S were made every year during its short production run from 2011 to 2014.
The example offered here is #33 of 50 race cars made by Ford Racing for the 2014 model year and it is as new as it comes with just only 9 miles on its odometer. The exterior is finished in Performance White with black graphics and came fitted with a front splitter, circular grille air inlets, hood extractor vents and pins, Boss 302S graphics, an AiM GPS module, front and rear tow hooks, an adjustable G-Stream C800 carbon-fiber rear wing, dual exhaust outlets, and 19″ Laguna Seca alloy wheels.
All 302S came with a factory race-focused cabin features that includes an FIA-spec six-point roll cage with door bars, a Recaro HANS Pro Racer fixed-back racing seat, and a blue six-point Sabelt harness. Additional equipment includes Simpson driver’s nets, an Sparco on-board fire suppression system, a master cut-off switch, a Ford Racing shift knob, aluminum pedals, and a modified center stack with Ford Racing switchgear.
Power comes from a Coyote-derived 5.0-liter BossR V8 which drivesthe rear wheels via a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen T2R limited-slip differential with 3.73:1 gearing. The powertrain was factory rated to produce up to 444 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.
