Is it just me or does this Shelby GT500 APR Wide Body Mustang look pretty sweet? I came across this wide body Mustang while trolling through the Mustang Ebay auctions and I must say this car really caught my eye. After reading through the description you quickly learn this 2008 Shelby GT500 is a custom one-of-a-kind masterpiece with alot of money and labor going into this vehicle.
For starters this Shelby GT500 APR wide body Mustang uses a one-off body kit developed by APR using this vehicle as the prototype. The paint was meticulously done by removing each panel and painting them seperately. Other custom touches include carbon fiber painted accents to the front grille, intake louvers, side mirrors and quarter window modules. One the paint and body were done the car was shipped off to Galpin Auto Sports in So Cal where they added a full KW coil over racing suspension and Wilwood racing brakes with drilled rotors. Next up the car was deliverd to Forgiato where they mounted 20″ x 10″ and 20″ x 13″ black powder coated wheels with Nitto racing tires. Other custom touches include a color matched painted roll cage and a set of functional brake ducts to cool the rear brakes.
