Ford Mustang Mach-E introduces a GT California Special edition, inspired by the iconic 1968 Ford Mustang California Special. Designed to capture the spirit of the American West Coast, this new variant strengthens the Mach-E’s identity within the Mustang family and is now available across Europe.

Exterior Design Highlights

The GT California Special features exclusive styling, including 20-inch Carbonised Grey wheels with GT/CS branding and Rave Blue-accented badges. A distinctive hood stripe showcases the California Special script with layered grey, black, and blue tones, reflecting coastal sunset themes.

Interior Features

Inside, performance seats are finished in Navy Pier ActiveX and Miko materials with reflective blue and silver accents. The center console and steering wheel use the same durable ActiveX material, offering improved resistance to wear and easier maintenance compared to leather.

Range and Efficiency Improvements

Premium Extended Range models benefit from new low rolling resistance tires, increasing range to up to 555 km (AWD) and 615 km (RWD), improving overall efficiency.

Enhanced Safety and Driver Assistance

Clear Exit Assist is now standard, helping detect cyclists or pedestrians approaching from behind to prevent dooring accidents. It complements features like adaptive cruise control, pre-collision assist, blind spot monitoring, and evasive steering assist.

New Color Options

Two new colors join the lineup: Race Red for a bold look and Adriatic Blue-Green, a metallic shade with deep tones.

Technology Expansion

The Mach-E continues to feature Ford BlueCruise, enabling hands-free driving in designated zones. This technology will expand to models like Ford Puma, Ford Ranger PHEV, and Ford Kuga starting summer 2026.

Pricing

Pricing varies by market, but the 2026 Mustang Mach-E lineup is positioned as follows:

  • Entry-level (Select): ~€45,100 / $37,795–$39,840
