After months of waiting and anticipation, the all-new 7th-generation Ford Mustang is finally available across the country. The folks at MotorWeek were one of the few who was invited by Ford to drive the new Mustang.
The 2024 Mustang shares its platform with the previous generation, resulting in similar dimensions and engines carried over from its predecessors. This approach mirrors the 1971 Mustang, which underwent significant changes while preserving the original Falcon-derived platform, earning it a place as a first-generation Mustang. Similar transformations within the same generation occurred in 1987 and 2010.
