2004 Ford Mustang 40th Anniversary Trim Package
The Mustang celebrated its 40th anniversary on April 17, 2004. Ford decided that all 2004 Mustangs would come with the 40th Anniversary badges on their fenders. Most people don’t know that there was actually a special trim package you could buy that gave you even more 40th Anniversary love.
The optional 40th Anniversary package available for both the base V6 and the GT models. It was available only in the paint colors of Crimson Red, Black, or Oxford White. Additional 40th Anniversary Package features include: Arizona Beige (silver) dual hood and trunk stripes; matching rocker stripes; upgraded wheels; and a deluxe parchment interior with painted center console surrounds, metallic gray shifter bezel and door lock knobs, shift boot trim, and brushed aluminum pedals. The Crimson Red paint was exclusive to the 40th Anniversary Package.
They also came standard with the interior upgrade package which included larger headrests and silver interior trim. Ford made 5700 of them.
The package was an $895 upgrade.

My son totaled our 40th edition. It only has 42,710 miles. Wondering what Allstate is going to offer me. If the offer is really bad, I might make more selling it for parts. If you are interested, please let me know fast.
Your information is wrong. I have a 40th anniversary Mustang that is Sonic blue. Your statement that they were only black, white and crimson red is wrong.
