Sixty years ago, Ford premiered the original Mustang at the World’s Fair in New York. Now, in April, the Mustang saga enters its next phase with a grand fan event at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Enthusiasts and owners will be treated to a sneak peek of the exclusive 60th Anniversary Appearance Package, alongside experiencing novel ownership opportunities set to unfold over the coming year.
In honor of the Mustang’s 60th milestone, Ford offered a glimpse of a special Vermillion Red and Ebony Black logo, reminiscent of the classic Mustang badging from its 1964 debut. Owners of the seventh-generation Mustang can also anticipate a unique update slated around April 17, accessible through activating ‘Automatic Software Updates’ via the SYNC 4 touchscreen settings.
Joe Bellino, Mustang brand manager, North America, expressed, “”The popularity of Mustang is rooted in its ability to evoke emotion – whether it’s the roar of the engine or the sight of its iconic silhouette, it sparks a visceral connection. This year, we’ll start to connect with Mustang customers in exciting new ways.”
The all-new seventh-generation Mustang continues the legacy, offering diverse options in terms of design, performance, and price points. From convertibles to coupes, V8s to turbocharged 4-cylinders, and manual to automatic transmissions, Mustang caters to a wide audience. Moreover, its presence extends to racing circuits worldwide with models like Dark Horse R, Mustang GT3, and Mustang GT4.
