Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Package Adds Retro-Flair

Ford celebrates the 60th birthday of the Mustang with a special edition anniversary package

The iconic Mustang is now 60 years old and to celebrate this remarkable feat, Ford has introduced a new special edition 60th anniversary package for the pony car.

Drawing inspiration from the 1965 model, the 60th anniversary package comes with retro-themed GT fender and trunk badges, reminiscent of the ’65 Mustang’s cloisonne insignias. Additionally, it also features vinyl striping along the lower body rocker panels and distinctive 20-inch wheels.

Additional upgrades include a custom mesh-style grille with silver-accented “nostrils,” designed not only for aesthetics but also to optimize engine air intake. Standard features include “Mustang Nite Pony” headlights with smoked-out housings and a serialized 60th Anniversary badge adorning the instrument panel.

Available in classic Wimbledon White, modern Race Red, and Vapor Blue, the 60th anniversary edition of the Mustang offers exclusive side graphics in Iconic Silver or Vermilion Red, paying homage to the original panel stripes seen on the first Mustangs.

With a nod to its debut year, Ford plans to produce up to 1965 units of this special package. Available for order in the summer, it is expected to hit dealerships nationwide in the fourth quarter of the year, with pricing details yet to be announced.
