The Ford Shelby GT350R is widely known for its impressive performance on both the track and the street. For its final year, Ford has gone all out with the GT350R, creating a race-ready machine for the street.
It boasts a 5.2-liter V8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The 2020 GT350R has undergone refinements to improve handling and steering responsiveness, including redesigned front suspension geometry and a high-trail steering knuckle borrowed from the all-new Shelby GT500. To enhance driver confidence and precision, a new steering rack and recalibrated electric power steering control have been added.
The GT350R is equipped with a carbon-composite front grille, functional hood and fender vents, a front splitter featuring the Shelby logo, a carbon-fiber wing, LED taillights with sequential turn signals, quad exhaust outlets, and 19-inch carbon-fiber wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Additional performance features include a MagneRide damping system, independent rear suspension, a line-lock launch control, and Brembo brake calipers with two-piece vented rotors.
With its impressive performance features, the GT350R is already highly sought after. However, this particular 2020 model takes it a step further with its stunning color scheme of Oxford White over Ebony, complemented by red cloth and Miko suede accents.
