Continuing Shelby’s legacy of transforming Ford’s Mustang into a high-performance powerhouse, this 2020 Super Snake offered for sale on Bring A Trailer remains in immaculate condition with only 253 original miles.
The Super Snake name debuted on a 1967 GT500 prototype featuring a GT40 MkII 427 engine and later adorned twin-supercharged 427 Cobras, including Carroll Shelby’s personal car. After years of dormancy, it was revived in 2007 when Shelby and Ford renewed their partnership, offering post-title Super Snake conversions in Las Vegas with up to 725 horsepower. By 2020, Shelby set a new benchmark with the 825-horsepower Super Snake, boasting race-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes, and 20-inch forged alloy wheels.
This Oxford White coupe with blue stripes features a Whipple-supercharged 5.0-liter V8, six-speed manual transmission, and limited-slip differential. Shelby upgrades include a Borla exhaust, dual-intake ram air hood, carbon-fiber gauge pod, track-tuned suspension, and Brembo brakes.
The luxurious cabin features Ebony leather and microsuede, heated/ventilated seats, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and SYNC 3 with navigation. Delivered in pristine, showroom-fresh condition, it retains all protective coverings, stickers, and unopened accessories.
