A modified 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse is currently listed for sale on Cars & Bids. Finished in Vapor Blue Metallic with a black-and-blue interior, the car shows approximately 2,000 miles on the odometer and features the Hennessey H850 performance package.
The car started life as a factory Mustang Dark Horse Fastback built on Ford’s new S650 platform. From the factory, the Dark Horse came equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote V8 rated at 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission.
According to Hennessey Performance, the H850 package increases output to 850 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque through a series of performance upgrades. The package includes an upgraded supercharger system, high-flow air induction system, upgraded fuel injectors, upgraded fuel pump, and HPE engine management calibration. The build also features Hennessey badging and a serial-numbered plaque.
The original window sticker included with the listing shows an MSRP of $76,650. Factory equipment includes the Dark Horse Appearance Package, Dark Horse Handling Package, and Tech Pack. Other features include 19-inch tarnished dark-painted aluminum wheels, a Torsen limited-slip differential, heated and ventilated Recaro front seats, and a heated steering wheel.
Introduced for the 2024 model year, the Dark Horse replaced the Mach 1 as the track-focused V8 model positioned above the Mustang GT. It features unique styling, chassis upgrades, suspension revisions, and Dark Horse-specific components developed for higher-performance driving applications.
This example combines the factory Dark Horse platform with Hennessey’s supercharged H850 package, creating an 850-horsepower version of Ford’s latest V8 Mustang.
