I recently purchased a 2013 Mustang Gt with the 401A option code, I have the window sticker for the car, I am the 2nd owner, I understand the original owner was a very senior person, I do not know much about these cars hope you can help me out, the last VIN numbers are 199, so this should be the 199th car built for 2013, it appears there are not any production numbers for 13, the previous owner could have installed other parts on the car, the rear end appears to have red what we used to call traction bars and a red bar that goes from side to side at the rear wheels, could this be a panard bar? also it is the last year for red kandy paint, I have the side window and rear quarter scoops, this I believe, could have been purchased when the car was built, also the hood scoops are red kandy not black, but it still has the original GT/CS floor mats, thought it may be a CS car, but it has 18″ wheels, its such an early 13 I was hoping they used left over 12 parts on it at the assembly line, also has a red kandy coyote bar across the engine, is this stock? any help would be great, btw the car has 16k miles auto trans
Thx Steve SW Florida
I have a 2014 V6 base automatic that I bought new and has 141,500 miles on it. Still running strong but is 11 years old. Trying to keep it running as long as I can! Just got some nice black 18″ rims for it with 235mm W-rated wheels. I would love to have the 2013 GT/CS wing on my car! A black one since I have Ruby Red Metallic paint with dual black glossy sport stripes from front to back. Someday maybe would look nice!…
