Video: Short Documentary about 494ci Can-Am powered ’69 Mustang dubbed ‘The Real Thing’

A short documentary has been posted about the amazing build of the 494 c.i. can-am powered 1969 Mustang dubbed ‘The Real Thing’.  The Mustang was built by Bodie Stroud Industries and it was featured at last years 2011 SEMA show.  The Mustang features a legendary motor built specifically for Mario Andretti’s 1969 Can Am series race car that pumps out 777 horsepower.  The video goes behind the scenes to tell the story of how this Mustang came to be and the incredible build process that was undertaken.

Its a well put together piece of video with a running time just over five minutes.  Check out the video below.
