After Ford Motor Company introduced the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 Ford Racing announced a first of its kind option for the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 in the form of a TracKey. The TracKey is an additional key available from Ford Racing that bares a Red Boss 302 logo unlike the Black Boss 302 logo the standard key bares. When inserted into the ignition the Red TracKey activates a secondary PCM featuring new TracMode software that alters more than 200 engine management parameters. The new parameters increase low-end torque among other things creating a competition-ready track car in an instant.
