Over on Ford Social they have posted a slew of archived photos of one of the early Mustang concepts that never made production. Its a way to look back and remember where the Ford Mustang came from as they get closer to the reveal of the all-new 2015 Mustang.
When Lee Iacocca asked for something fresh, sporty and easy on the wallet the engineers at Ford came up with what you see above. It may have been futuristic for its time but it was the underpinnings for the Ford Mustang that was built and introduced in 1964.
