The nose design is altered to look more like the Mustang SVO. The GT also changes with ten-hole alloy wheels and tasteful graphics. The 5.0L H.O. Mustang receives a two-speed accessory belt drive, roller tappets and a high performance cam valve train. 210 horsepower is available as long as it is not with automatic-overdrive that uses throttle body fuel injection.
The four-cylinder turbo charged, air-to-air intercooled SVO Mustang also experiences 205 horsepower, which is up from 175, and the SVO possesses flush single-unit halogen headlights.
